Not Quite!

Yesterday I ran the 5k at the Freedom Festive in Provo- first of all it was a great race! I loved all the people, police and all the hoopla! But, I didn't quite make my goal as perviously stated. My last race was 38 minutes  (no laughing) and this race was 36.?? I haven't got my official time yet. I am so excited that my time got better, and to my defense, the last mile was uphill :( . So all that said it still wasn't 32 minutes! My sister, brother and niece all ran the race as well- and we all finished (and we were not last, not even close!). My (Worthington) family started two competitions yesterday, we officially weighed in, and we will weigh in again on November 2, 2008. So here is the competition, % of body weight loss, and the other is total distance (running, swimming, or biking). I am really excited to (kick everyone's butt!) have a friendly, motivational competition! Most important, to have everyone moving, exercising, getting healthier! It will be so fun to do this as a family! In fact, one of my sisters all ready reported a mile of running this morning!

Wooo! You go girls!
And hey, everytime I finish a little bit faster than the last time, I know I've WON. You're amazing!

That is awesome! I wish I could run anything...even a couple miles on the treadmill would be good. That really is so neat. I am so sad that we missed you guys at the family reunion. I always love being around you. I am really sad that you guys are moving.

You rock! I am proud of you for running your little heart out! Your testimony was awesome today, I love to listen to you speak, and I am really sad that your are leaving. I want visitation hours when you come home to see your family -k?
