My Problem

OK- I am enlisting help from all of you to figure out what in the heck my problem is! I have been talking to Sean about it for 3 days now and I can't figure it out, and he is losing interest in my ramblings. So here we go, in the morning I go walking and really have no other option and really I enjoy taking my kids with me. So I push D and Z in the double jogging stroller, and pack A on me. (Don't say it or I'll poke your eyeballs out!) So here is the problem, every person I see says something like, "Wow, what a load!", or "Your really getting a workout", or "Thats amazing!" I want to wear a big sign that says "SHUT #@ (we don't say that word at our house ;) and just let me workout!"  UGGGGG!! What is my problem? Any suggestions, tips, past experience and help so I don't go around with 3 kids and a sign would be helpful!

You know, its like the person who comes up to you when you are 8 1/2 months pregnant and says "Wow, you look huge!" Or the person that says "Nice shoes! Do they fit?" These sort of people really want to make conversation with you, but never think about the "verbal vomit" that is spewing forth from their mouths. These people should be cared for lovingly and with great patience and understanding. I know, I know its hard to be the bigger person, especially considering that you are already carrying "quite a load". Just turn up your ipod, put your glasses on, and pretend like you don't see them ;)!

Ipod... even if you dont have it on you can pretend to have it on...and just ignore everyone. haha. Works pretty good!

Ignoring them is the nicest thing you can do.
Better than hitting them over the head anyway.
(Why is it that people feel they have to say anything at all???)

I would say "are you saying I'm fat?" they will be so embarrassed that they'll hurry off in the other direction. Hey I'm full of great ideas.

I'm such an optimistic person I guess. People admire you and want to be part of your world. So I say something my dad taught me. Turn it around and talk about them. Example: "What are you doing these days to work out?" Or like one of my daughters said to a friend she hadn't seen since 6 grade, when the friend asked, "how did you get so tall?" She answered, "how did you get so short?" Oh life it is so amazing.
