This has been something on my mind lately, but it can get a little overwhelming. So on earth day I decided to make my contribution to help with all those disposable diapers I put into landfills. I purchased my fabric grocery bags, and surprisingly I love them. I have been trying to teach the kids about not abusing our resources. I talked to D about turning off the water while he brushes his teeth. He caught right on and was so excited to be a helper. So the other morning I was brushing my teeth and he ran into my bathroom and yelled, "turn off the water, turn off the water". I guess he will be teaching me about protecting our resources:-) For FHE we went to the pet store to look for a family pet. Z was so funny because she had her heart set on a Hermit Crab one with a pink shell, until Sean said something about ice cream. (as long as it was pink) It was a great FHE and only cost $6.00 for the ice cream. For Sean the best part was the live crickets jumping around the store.
