Shall I falter , or shall I finish?

Sean and I spent Sunday talking about some of the trails we have been through. It's interesting that I have had people say I have never had a trail. I have seen plenty of heartache, trails, dark days and sorrow, but this life is to enjoy as well- and every trial is a time for growth. "Our mortal life was never meant to be easy or consistently pleasant. Our Heavenly Father, who gives us so much to delight in, also knows that we learn and grow and become refined through hard challenges, heartbreaking sorrows, and difficult choices. Each one of us experiences dark days when our loved ones pass away, painful times when our health is lost, feelings of being forsaken when those we love seem to have abandoned us. These and other trials present us with the real test of our ability to endure. A fundamental question remains to be answered by each who runs the race of life: SHALL I FALTER, OR SHALL I FINISH? To finish life's race involves enduring through challenges and trials to the very end of life itself." (President Monsen, Women's Conference)  Let's all choose to FINISH- I know it won't be easy along the way but together we can offer support, comfort, love and give vision to each other when days are hard.

I think most of the time we never really see the trials other people are going through.

My dad has a saying that "everyone carries a full load" even if you can't see it.

You're right, Amy. We have the choice to falter or finish - and I think we need to be mindful that our actions sometimes have a big impact on whether others falter or finish, too.

Thanks for the reminder~!
