Your Purpose

I think sometimes we forget about our purpose in life, why we were sent here, and how we will make a difference. I know a lot to think about on this Wednesday! My mom always says that when your standing next to a tree it is hard to see the whole forest. She is right, all we sometimes see is was is right now, this minute, the problem. I often forget that there is a bigger picture! Why am I here, what do I have to offer that is unique to me? I think all of us have a striving to do great, to serve, to change the world! But the laundry pile, and the mundane set in, and that is all we can see. Today I was out walking and decided it was TIME, time to grow up ( I know you all think I'm still a baby) time to become the person whom I want to become, no more trees, I am looking at the forest!

I think perspective is in the eye of the beholder. You, my dear have accomplished some pretty amazing things in your 26 years, are an awesome example of whats really important, and the hottest mama I know! You are using your TIME well. (And by the way, your siblings will always see you as the baby, I say that as the oldest sibling- we can't help it that's how we're built!)By the way, can I see the beach instead of the palm trees? Forests get too cold around here...

It's hard when your whole life becomes your kids. It's hard to figure out who you really are and what your purpose is. We work hard to make sure are kids will understand the gospel and be great kids... but it's an 18+ year battle. haha And your clean house that you worked ALL day to clean doesnt stay clean, and the laundry is never ending. I hear ya!

Thanks that is such a good thought. I definately need to look at the forest more. You are such a happy positive person and I am thankful that I have met you and that our boys are such good friends!!
